Hair Cut

I love long hair but felt I needed a slight change...so my amazing, fantastic, hair wizard...did a little shorter variation.

I didn't realize how much was cut off till I looked back at these pictures...(the great thing with hair...is that it always grows back..LOL)..WOW...but all I can say is Katonna (my hair wizard) is simply amazing with color and cut..I love her to death.  She darkened it too but of course the B&W doesn't reflect the color...but I love it...thank you Katonna for always making me look good and for being my friend.  I love you girl.  You truly are amazing..:)

Christmas Morning...

It has been tradition in my family that Christmas Morning is unique.  My parents (mainly my Mom) would never let us open presents until we had all eaten a really good breakfast. Mom always said when we were young that was the only meal she was guaranteed we'd eat because the rest of the day was spent playing with all the new toys. So to honor tradition I started it with my children when they were little (of course Mom and Dad made sure because they come and celebrate Christmas morning with us.) The other reason it works is because all of my kids are late sleepers (yes even when they were little - they never got up before 8am...I know I'm lucky......). The other tradition we have is separating the presents into piles and everyone taking their seat and we go around the circle and watch everyone open one present at a time. This always made sure we were able to see what everyone got instead of one mad rip, tear and shred and then it's over in 5 minutes and nobody knows what each other got. So after breakfast we all went into the living room and sat in our respective seats and went around the circle and watched each other open presents.

My Mom was so excited cuz she got the newest Michael Ball CD. He's a young Michael Crawford and I heard his music a few years ago (just searching for new stuff) and all I can say is WOW....what a voice and my Mom fell in love with him. So I found his brand new album on Amazon.com because his records are only available in England...so needless to say she was pretty excited.

My Dad is a PGA Golf Pro and he got the Greatest Game Ever Played book and was thrilled...since he knew Eddie Lawry (the caddy that helped change the game of golf forever).

It's Christmas Time...

GINGERBREAD HOUSE...The Real way..


Trellany came home from school the other day with her first 'GINGERBREAD HOUSE' she made completely from scratch.  She is taking a Culinary Class this year and learning a lot.  They made everything from the gingerbread cookies to assembling the house and then decorating it.  It was so cute and as usual I was a very proud Mom.

After we took the pics...she said 'Mom' I can hardly wait to eat it..this one we can all eat.  Needless to say it didn't last very long once the 'boys' got home.  Hence why I love photos to capture the moment before it's gone...LOL.

WINTER FORMAL '08

Robert & Trellany - Winter Formal '08

Well it's another year and it's Trellany's "Winter Formal"...she asked her friend Robert Skousen and they were a really cute couple.  She accented her dress with 'Red' accessories and Robert help'd complete the ensemble by wearing his 'Red' shoes too.   

  

There was a group dinner that was shared with 16 couples 

   

 

at one of her friends homes (thanks Letners) where they ate out on the balcony overlooking their beautiful backyard and pool.

It was then off to the dance where they danced the night away.  They then all returned to the Letners for a midnight movie and games.  Oh to be young again.  I'm just glad Trellany is having the time of her life and that her 'Senior' year is everything she was hoping it would be.  Thanks Robert for making it a special evening and for being a super sport with the 'Red' shoes.  You guys look'd grrrreeeat...!!

TWILIGHT - GNO Party Of The Year!!!

TWILIGHT MOVIE - 

We had the GNO - Party of the Year!!

   

Sandy Bell, Brooke Sampson and myself put together a Private Showing of the TWILIGHT Movie that is based on the "Twilight Series" of books by Stephanie Meyer.  We were able to gather 257 of our friends and their friends and even some of their friends and had a movie theater totally dedicated to watch the movie on opening day.  WOW...what a total riot and all the time, energy and planning that went into our Movie Party Of The Year...was a total blast.

The movie was AWESOME...and Edward totaly grew on you where at the end of the movie you were left wanting so much more...can hardly wait till "NEW MOON" is released...and we will have another GNO of the year!!
